The Pulse SK5

Welcome to February's edition of The Pulse SK5, the monthly e-magazine which keeps you up to date on all things Reddish!

The year has started off at a frantic pace within the housing market with record prices being achieved in both the sales and rental departments, in fact, it was our busiest ever January as a branch! It is great to see and bodes well for the year ahead, however, it has left us with a shortage of stock. So if you, or somebody you know, is looking to sell or rent, or are currently on the market and struggling to sell or rent, please get straight in touch to discuss how we can help!

I hope you find the below articles useful and interesting, any feedback on these subjects is always welcome. And, of course, if you are aware of any future changes or developments that may be occurring within our area please make me aware at

Upcoming Orienteering Event

On Saturday 5th March, Reddish Vale Country Park plays host to a fantastic Orienteering day. The event, which is being organised by Manchester & District Orienteering Club, offers courses for beginners to the more experienced, for both adults and children. It is a great way to get in some exercise whilst having fun, all within a beautiful setting, and for a very low price (£3 for adults and £1 for children). If you are interested then you need to follow the link and get your name down...

Help get South Reddish Train Station back up and running!

It really is a shame that South Reddish train station currently isn't fulfilling it's huge potential as it would be a great addition to our local area! FORSS (Friends of Reddish South Station) were founded in 2007 and have been battling this ever since, unfortunately, with little success. However, in December 2015, the announcement was made that Arriva North shall be taking over the Northern Rail franchise, and with a few high profile meetings lined up between Arriva bosses and Andrew Gwynne MP, there is a new sense of hope that the line, which goes via Denton Station in to Manchester Victoria, will be re-opened! Please follow the link to find out more...

Julian Wadden now at home in Sale!

Julian Wadden are opening their latest branch in Sale, in the former Thomas Cook premises which have received a major refurbishment to create the beautiful branches the company are known for.

The new branch in the heart of Sale’s pedestrianised precinct will open in March and will cover Sale, Brooklands, West Timperley and the immediate surrounding areas. To celebrate the opening, we will be offering to homeowners and landlords discounted opening offers for the first three months which we envisage will save both sellers and landlords literally thousands of pounds.

The branch will be headed up by local boy Phil Robinson, who not only has over twenty years’ experience of the Sale property market but has lived in Sale all  his life. No one knows the patch better so with that local knowledge and local know how Phil will get you a better result.
