Welcome to June's edition of The Pulse SK1-2-3, the monthly e-magazine which keeps you up to date on events and news within our local area.
As usual at this time of year there is plenty going on in and around Stockport Centre; from kids cooking classes, to business classes, to the return of the popular Fairey Band. There is also a road closure warning in here that you may want to take note of!
I hope you find the below of interest and, as always, if you wish to see a particular event covered then please e-mail me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org

Stockport Centre section of the A6 to close for 12 weeks
This will potentially be terrible news for some... a major part of the A6 will be closed from July 24th for 12 weeks as essential repairs are being done to the bridge below. The area in question runs between Exchange Street (Near the Garrick Theatre) and Heaton Lane, with both lanes permanently shut throughout this time. You might want to start researching alternative routes!
